meh, these awards are a joke anyway edit: zack apparently thinks so as well lol Bill Plunkett @billplunkettocr 14 minutes ago Zack Greinke is nothing if not consistent. Did not participate in MLB Network pre-announcement interviews with Arrieta, Kershaw 3:42 PM - 18 Nov 2015 · Details

Cubs have won every award so far. What a joke. Dude goes nuts for 3 months and its pretty clear the idiots who voted were going off of the SportsCenter and MLB Network recent slurping of Arrieta
Yeah, Zack was a boring pick. Have to pick the best story for the award. Oh well...if Zack signs elsewhere, I won't give two shits that he didn't win to be honest.
Arrieta's ERA was only .11 from Zack which surprised me, couple that with the no-hitter I think won the award. Zack already has one so give it to the guy because that will be his only great season anyway!!!!
Its not a one stsrt or half season award though. That is what drives me nuts. Greinke had 30/32 quality starts, definition of consistent. From game 1 to game 162, he gave us a chance to win every single time. ( because I am pretty sure we won both of his starts that were not quality starts)
Are you saying only the voters in Illinois counted? Are you saying that the Cubs are not a part of that East Coast bias? That's just naive. Nothing west of the Mississippi counts with any of those guys. I know you're an East Coaster, but that's just denial. All the major media is located in the East Coast and they vote. They also decide what gets on and not on national TV. To deny an East Coast bias is just putting your head in the sand and to argue it doesn't extend to good ol Chicago is splitting hairs.
Kershaw crushed everyone on advanced metrics, and Greinke was incredible the entire year, but I had a feeling Arrieta would win the Cy Young.
Yes..yes...I am in deep denial...you're right. I'm so involved with the east coast/Cubs consortium...you've found me out. Yes, my spirit animal is an ostrich. There is sand everywhere... Biggie or Tupac? Man, I'm guessing you are a younger guy, but damn, you are wrapped tight. Phew.
