Greinke goes to the Diamondbacks for the money.... Friedman is destroying our team like Obama is destroying our country... fuck me!
Can't wait for Zack to speak the truth and throw our ownership and FO under the bus. Then I hope he blows his arm out.
32.5 per for a 32 year old on a six year deal is too damn high! Best of luck scumming in the cellar with the D-Bags.
Hell to the no. He couldn't round the money down to $206? Shows the heights of the greed right there lol.
Whoa! Homo? Andrew Phillips @TheRealBigPoop Maybe its the money. Maybe its years. Most likely, its the security of knowin that youll see Paul Goldschmidt in his underwear almost daily. 5:35 PM - 4 Dec 2015
The Dodgers have been forthright about their intentions of building good teams in 2017 and beyond, so perhaps it’s no surprise that they didn’t top the Diamondbacks’ winning bid, Mark Saxon of ESPN Los Angeles writes. They did make a substantial offer of five years and $155MM, but they didn’t want to push themselves financially with an even riskier, lengthier deal. Since the Dodgers hired Andrew Friedman, Saxon writes, they’ve focused on making smart business moves, and perhaps in their minds, signing a thirtysomething pitcher to a boundary-pushing deal wouldn’t have qualified as one.
