Guy is 27 years old, looks like a AAAA player to me. I mean, theres like a 1% chance he'd be worth anything in MLB
Yeah, to me you cannot really blame the front office too much for what what has gone on so far with the offense... I think it will be fair to judge them on how they adjust to the circumstances we have before us
Sure we can. We have needed a right handed middle of the order bat for like a year and a half and it still hasn't been addressed
Win now. Lucroy and Ryan Braun plus relievers Jared Jefferies and Blaine Boyer. And old IF Aaron Hill. For... Yasmani. Puig. Kike. Crawford. Van Slyke. Baez. Grant Holmes. Jharell Cotton. Mike Bolsinger. Ross Stripling. Alex Woods. Micah Johnson. Go to a 4 man rotation with Kershaw. Kazmir. Maeda. Urias with spot starts of Zach Lee until Ryu. McCarthy. Anderson are healthy or DeLeon comes up. Bullpen will be solid now and even better with Montas. Chase 2B Seager SS Gonzales 1B Braun LF Joc CF Trayce RF Lucroy C Hill 3B Ethier OF utility Turner and Kendrick IF utility AJ. Barnes. Segedin as subs
Problem is you want to send them guys anyone can pick up on the curb for the most part Cotton is the only name in there besides maybe the upside of Baez that would cause any gm to do anything but laugh
New guy alert! Righty Gus Schlosser is headed to the Dodgers on a minor league deal, asMike Ashmore of MyCentralJersey.com reports. Schlosser dominated the Atlantic League this year with the Somerset Patriots, earning him a return to the affiliated ranks. The 27-year-old cracked the majors in 2014 with the Braves, allowing 7.64 earned per nine over 17 2/3 innings with eight strikeouts and six walks. He spent last year at the Double-A level in the Rockies organization.
I'm fairly certain only reason CC started was cause Puig was hurt. I guess they could've configured it to have Howie in LF and Utley at 2B ? Adrian was a planned day off due to being careful with some of his injuries and I'm guessing they don't want to run Utley into the ground just yet. As far as I know, CC is 4th in the depth chart for outfielders and might be behind Howie if Howie could prove to be competent in LF.
Ethier will help take care of cc when he comes back. For all the hate puig gets he still has a higher average than turner howie grandal kike and even joc. He is 5th in avg on the team. And 4th in hr. 4th in runs. 3rd in rbi. 1st in steals. Not as horrible.
Dodgers against Kendricks. AGon .500, Red dream .400, Yasiel .333. AGon and Turner went deep. Only 6 at-bats or less for all of them however.
