Woulda been better if I knew how to something else besides type on this thing. ( Which is challenge sometimes). However, I can italicize and bold now.
Fcking Grateful Dead, man...now that's what I call overated... Hey, Darth, there is still 5 F votes for the nerds, I knowmone is yours, and one is mine. NZ recently went up a bit on his..so who are the other three?
Not showing me, maybe a mod can say? I was actually wondering who the last A is, after Winslow and Cait?
These guys have put a substandard product on the field in every aspect. SP, RP, offense, defence, management, bench. All for a major league leading price. Amazing, really.
.. I kinda liked the doodah man. Coupla pretty good songs, but mostly boring, endless riffs for smackers to nod out to. Tedium after a while. If that's good music for you, then keep truckin, man... imo, overated, like the FO. Here's the way it works: different people like different music; doesn't mean" they don't have a fucking clue".
I'll update mine. 2015 Offseason: A 2015 Deadline: F 2016 Offseason: D Total: C- That's without digging into each aquisition and looking at the data. Just off the top of my head.
Are you trying to reason with a Dead head who calls himself Blazer? Really? J/K Nah, it's all rock and roll!
all i know is whatever they're doing isn't working not hiring maddon was sheer arrogance friedman wanting to rebuild the wheel for himself well we're now seeing what he's constructed yes i'll give him some time for the project to grow (improve) but overall it's been dismal... so far
I could be wrong, but I don't see it that way. Theo (took over in 2011) was already well on his way to building a winner in Chicago by the time Maddon hit the market, and Joe could see that. The Johnny-come-lately Dodgers didn't get started good until the 2015 season after Friedman took over in the fall of 2014. The Cubbies had a 3 year head start to shake up their organization and Joe Maddon could see which way the wind was blowing. I don't think anything the Dodgers could have offered him would have changed his mind.
perhaps in regards to maddon but we've now hired two back-to-back rookie managers w/zero managing experience for an organization that boasted about being a perennial ws contender every year this is not acceptable
