Interestingly, the last time the Cubs won the WS it was in a back-to-back effort. But win or lose the Cubs are going to be good for years to come. I don't know if winning makes them letdown more next year, but if they do win I will support that narrative.
Eh... i think you miss my point because you want to miss it, not because you actually do. BTW, chemo kills. It is the 'correct' decision when you are given options by your doctor, but not always the 'right' decision in the long term.
Tbh, at this point, it matters not anymore what they did, why they did it, or why they didn't. It feels like enough emotional investment and relentless disappointment in this team, who, ultimately, are the personification of futile losers. Without fail.

Does that name have anything to do with that movie Mulholland Drive? Club Silencio? Great movie by the way.
Great girl on girl action and ending. Real mind trip... The brunette was crazy smoking hot, and I never saw her again.
She's married to some rich aristocrat...doesnt have to work or put out for another day in her life.....unless she wants to that is.
You're probably right. But I wouldn't be a very good fan if I didn't pull for them until the end. I have a really good feeling about tonight with Lester going. But I'm not as confident after that.
that's what being a loyal fan is all about look at all the older cubs fans that not only go to games now, but have been going year in and year out regardless same with a lot of indians fans i'm sure most good fans are that way most of us here are that way about the dodgers don't ever lose that feeling -- that love you have for your team
