Wish I knew what Kershaw said when Yasiel almost blew catching that liner... I tried to read his lips; not bad at it, since I'm an old artilleryman. All I got was "cabbage"... Oh, and " mother something"...
not getting a lot of lift/elevation but i wouldn't worry about the power last year he had just 3hr in mar/apr/may combined... and then finished with a career high 27 "the peoplepower will come [ray]... the peoplepower will most definitely come..."
Sorry I haven't been around, been on the TIA tarmac round 46+ hours a week. However I have noticed the youth movement is in full swing, and they are playing up to it. Mr. Cody Bellinger has been most impressive. Sprinkle in some the vets and there's a damn good baseball team. Hell even Utley is nearing the .200 avg and has those timely hits we have seen from him in the past. Things are moving in a positive direction as most of us thought they would.
only 4 K's but a solid outing not stellar but solid and he had another hit and is batting nearly 80 points higher than SVS
This is hilarious. I've been reading it on and off for days. http://www.hardballtimes.com/the-predictable-bias-of-mlb-network/
Only saw the first two innings. Was surprised they only scored one more the rest of the way. Good thing #22 was going. Old man Utley picked a great time to rise from the dead. Really don't regret miss watching Coors games. They're unnerving as hell.
I'm in Boston for the weekend but glad to see last night's outcome after the night before. Wood scares me in Coors.
A lot more to Taylor's game than hitting. Turned a couple of nice twos on Arenado and kept the tag on the runner to get the third out at a point in the game where the Rox were threatening to make a run. Tip o' the Dodger cap to the nerds for Taylor.
A fleece called immediately by these guys: 19 Jun 2016 Taylor: 1.8 WAR / 600 PA. Adequate everyday player, 6 yrs control. Lee = 6th SP, 4.65 projection. #Dodgers by $31.8m NPV. Classic Friedman. One of the best twitter accounts in the game, just wish it tweeted more.
Not trying to minimize Friedman's fabulousity one iota, at all...but anyone who would trade anyone for Lee has a learning disability and/or is visually impaired.
Going to the Dodgers/Cubs game the 26th, where are some of your guys' best recommendations of places to stay in LA?
