Arizona in the catbird seat. We bang heads with the Rox, they pull the Phillies...actually worse than the Mets. Like we were four days ago.
I've had a lot of MLB Network on in the background this week. Found out you can watch it online with log-in credentials from my cable provider. My goodness it is mostly crap. Other than MLB Now, none of it is tolerable. They left Seager out of the best young shortstop discussion. Best Starting pitcher: Kershaw vs Scherzer Best Closer: Jansen vs Kimbrel Best Rookie: Bellinger vs Judge Best Shortstop Lindor vs Correa Just didn't want to have a Dodger in every category. Punk bkitches! David Ortiz' number being retired somehow warrants wall to wall coverage? Who gives an S about this roided out gapped tooth bkitch other than people in Boston? And "High Heat" wtf. I guess I've never truly watched it. Worst show on TV. Russo and Shine are both idiots. I'm going to commit my life to becoming programming director of that network just so I can drain the swamp. Then I'll quit.
Kyle Freeland is striking out only 5.5 hitters per 9 and walking 3.5 per nine. I hope we put up a crooked number against him and send these posers away
I will be in attendance tonight. First time in a while I'm really excited to be at the ballpark. Some head-to-head division action
mlb now is a great show just watched them all praise the dodgers foe almost 15 minutes was really encouraging with the stats they backed everything up with especially kershaw... said everything stat-wise was the same only that the hr pitches were worse than normal
MLB Now is such a good talk show. I don't agree with everything Brian Kenny says, but he's a very good host in the sense that he holds his guests accountable and asks the right questions. He sparks good debate between ex-players, journalists, authors, and saber guys. I like the diversity of thought on the show. If someone on the panel isn't prepared, they're quickly exposed (Joe Magrane gets torched all the time and I love it). The show puts everything in context and like you said...backs everything up with data. After watching MLB Now, it's pretty much impossible to tolerate Intentional Talk, High Heat, MLB Central, etc. Those shows are so mindless and the hosts take everything ex-players say as gospel. No accountability whatsoever. The "humor" is cringeworthy and the analysis is so far off the mark. I want more MLB Now type shows. I love learning about the game. MLB Tonight is okay. I like that it runs until the final out on the West coast and isn't deluded with lame skits and segments.
For all the talk of hitting in Coors, the Rockies are one of the few teams with a better road record than home. Hopefully they're still reeling from the two hay-makers they received from ARI.
typical espn everything focusing on ortiz no mention of dodgers/rockies anywhere on their webpage and a video comparing judge with gretzky, jordan and jim brown
