Looks like the above won't matter. As Bellinger has indeed made the NL all-star team along with Seager, Kershaw and Kenley Kershaw won the player vote to make his 1st all-star start ESPN Stats & InfoVerified account@ESPNStatsInfo Cody Bellinger: 1st position player in Dodgers history to make All-Star Game in 1st season in majors
Anyone else trying to get JT in there? http://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/07/ken...ers-fans-all-star-voting-mlb-justin-turner-nl DAMN STRAIGHT KENLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lack of a TV deal is not a fucking excuse.
I follow the all star game like I follow Olympic Curling. If it's on while flipping channels I'll stop for a few minutes and say "This crap is still a thing?" Then I move on with my day. I loath everything about the fedit thing.
If there's a guy leading the league in hitting by almost 50 points, then it's bullshit for him to not be an all star. I hate the game, but not the player. I just put in my time for JT. Voted online. Voted by text. Voted on twitter. Maxed out all platforms. https://www.mlb.com/all-star/final-vote Text N5 to 89269 Tweet #VoteJT
And there is so much more to hate than just the game. Like the voting system - it opens 3 weeks into the season and voting lasts 2 months? Why? And one person (aka email address) can vote 100 times? It's literally 17 kids in Chicago choosing the all star team.
Kenley getting on the fans for not voting is fine. I like Kenley. I like him standing up for his teammates. BUT the Dodgers currently lead the league in attendance (both average and total). That's better than all star votes.
The fans always complain about having a guys in there they don't like and this is their best opportunity to have a say in it. Leading the league in attendance and not having Dodgers in there is just lazy and just disappointing.
Flaws aside, it's by far the best of the All-Star games. The others are glorified grab ass exhibitions.
A sham event perpertrated by shamsters...how do you get better or more "all star" than undefeated/best ERA and highest BA in MLB ? Yet, it continually gets fellated as the criteria for excellence. Smh...
Pitchers aren't even voted in by fans. Coaches and players vote for pitchers, making the snub for Wood even worse.
I haven't voted for an all star game since the old punch card system, but yesterday I voted for JT like 30 times. Who's up next? Vote for the ginger
