Take a close look at that 12-4 record last year....a lot of really close, lucky wins. 12-4 could have easily been 8-8. Del Rio and staff were more lucky than good
So RAIDERS get Navorro Bowman, 1yr-3M But it may be too late Downing has downed the offense with his system..big formations are gone, moved to a zone blocking scheme for some fucking reason..deep balls are gone..it's check down city like Alex Smith is at QB or some shit It's terrible and he should feel terrible
Reason it might be too late is Novarro hasn't been the same since ripping his achilles a year ago. He recovered from his previous knee injury nicely, but hasn't been the same since last year's injury. Too bad. He was a true bad ass on the Patrick Willis level.
Yeah he's still battling back from the achilles, it was barely a year ago week 4. It generally takes around the same amount of time to feel like your old self when returning from an ACL, may not be until later in the year or even next season. Even still, as he is now, he's a monster upgrade over what they have currently..but will he be able to stay healthy while working to get back is the real question..so many season ending injuries the last 3 or 4 years. We shall see. At 2-4 it may be too late for it to matter this year, but maybe he leads and sticks beyond this season. They're going to need a new captain once they let Reggie Nelson go next offseason..he has to go
