I know this is par for the course with our FO, but, uh, we should be doing stuff, right?

And now, Christian Yelich is available... good god, that team will be a dumpster fire.

Eh, bullpen is really the only thing I wanted them to address, but I'd bet Yelich is the type of guy this FO will pursue. I'm sure most of the league will be after him, so it will be interesting to see what he goes for. Definitely a guy that you move Verdugo for as Yelich is basically AV's ceiling.

Get out there and buy Justin Turner some hits for next year's World Series

A lot of people probably need to take a breath and realize nobody in the division has gotten better (though SF will probably be a little better with the current roster) and if anything AZ is worse having likely lost Martinez.

Now, an upgrade in the bullpen will probably happen, but beyond that, nothing of impact is a necessity to get through the season and look to add a starter at the deadline again.

My 1st thought about the Cards getting Ozuna was that the move didn't put them over the top but was an upgrade no doubt. Then my hate for the Cubs kicked in and I was thinking this is great the Cards can possibly take the division from the Cubs and they won't make the play-offs! Alas that thought was fleeting mainly because I don't think Theo will let this slide and he'll go all in for Yelich. HOPING for the Dodgers to be rumored to be trying at least to get Yelich as well.

I think I found my style of writing by reading Alan Malamud as a little kid everyday. Notes on a scorecard was my favorite thing in the paper when I was in grade school.

Now multiple reports are saying that the Marlins have no intention on moving him, so who knows what is happening.

Yeah, it's a deeply sad enigma...although he choked in the WS this year, not considering the past failures, I think the Choker of the Year Award goes to Kenley Jansen, unchallenged.
He set the stage for a series turnaround, and gave the Astros the means to do it. Not once, but twice.
He stands at least with Broxton and Blanton, actually worse because we were finally in the series, ahead at the time. Historical Dodger bed shitting, in multiples. It may he a valid question that what difference would Stanton and/or Ozuna or a reincarnate Ted Williams make if the best SP and RP on the planet just both lose their bottle and give it up like a crack whore?
And offensively, Seager, Turner and Bellinger did not look like they came to play, at least in the deciding game.

Heyman just posted on twitter that he's off the market and it's understandable because the years of control but the history tells us that an owner in Miami will burn shit down. They'll get a lot more for Yelich than what they got for Ozuna.

Borassshole described the Marlins situation as a pawn shop. 1st only time I'd agree with the guy.

Agreed in principle but with the caveat that the GG front office caused much of this distress

Kenley is meant to pitch 3 outs and lock down the W. No less and no more.
Not to pitch the 8th and 9th repeatedly

Just like Clayton has plenty of heart but it was used poorly when he has to pitch repeatedly on short rest.
The boy is not going to say No. Not in his makeup.

Use each pitcher for what they are and we might be wearing rings right now
Dick with known successful recipes and this loser sort of stuff happens, predictably.

Damned GG nerds need to read DSP already

Oh I agree with his avariciously greedy self often enough but he's still a tool

That said, major agents will have all the latest news on troop movements
And I'd personally rather see Ozuna become a Dodger than Yelich

I was on the Ozuna bandwagon the entire year and I was on board with us going for him but according to a better expert than me wrote his power numbers were an outlier. Time will tell but I'm a little disappointed despite that writer.

One thing seems pretty certain, the Nationals are going to have a fucking cakewalk of a division for about one more year.

I figured it wouldn't take you too long, since there is a little chink in the armor to your "everybody in line" after that WS...
I must be very good at it, or very bad at it, since I haven't read any response like this from you towards anyone else who bemoans what happened...and there have been plenty indeed.
I'm happy that bothers you so from me, and are able to ignore it completely from others.
    I feel special.

I agree with you. And I am proud that Clayton and Kenley are Dodgers, as they have been glorious players for us.
I could never have the mendacity towards them as others do. I could never write what I've read on here about Agon either...the guy has been simply a great LAD.
I can't even go at Orel, because of what he's done for us in the past.
But as chokers, CK and KJ are record holders.
    It is what it is.
