Story felt a twinge in his elbow when he THREW the ball on the Turner ground out and then another twinge when swinging the bat. Could feel something in it when they moved it around, but the training staff said that he responded well to early tests. That sounds bad at first, but they think he'll be fine and is day to day.

Hope he's alright. No excuses for them when they get swept.

Based on what he said, it doesn’t sound like something as major as TJ. It didn’t sound like he experienced the same pain I had and even the Rockies postgame guy said the same thing in regards to his own TJ. Still weird that he did it on the throw and even said that the dive had nothing to do with the pain. Does look like it will be tough to get him in the remaining games unless something major happens as he said he’s still got some pain doing any sort of baseball activity.

The best way to remedy this is to play him every night no matter what, and to rub dirt on it several times a day.
    Be back in no time.
Or to play a series against the Cardinals...they will hit your best hitter for sure, and do a good job of.it.

So Spilly was saying something last night about Turner and how important he was to the team. Then he brought it up again today on MLB Radio and elaborated on it somewhat. He said that his sources inside the clubhouse(it's honestly probably Alana) have told him that the Dodgers clubhouse is once again a total mess. He didn't get too much into it, but basically Turner is the glue guy and almost daily is having to defuse something. When he was hurt, he wasn't there a whole lot so things supposedly got pretty bad and he has been having to mop things up all year. The last thing he said on it is there are some personalities that are not happy about playing time and it is causing big problems almost nightly.

This was frustrating to hear as this is coming on the heels of a lot murmurs league-wide that this is becoming a bigger and bigger issue with players on the team. I have not heard any one name dropped, but it is apparently somewhat widespread so that could mean we are in for a busy off season. This is apparently related to both the pitchers and hitters.

Maeda and Wood are two pitchers who I immediately suspect.

Position players...Kemp, maybe, but you'd think after past mistakes and being on borrowed time since ST, he'd be happy just to still be in LA.

I don't think Puig would complain.

Dozier is a new guy but I suspect he is a jerkoff.

Bellinger maybe. He came up mashing everyone, LHP too. Took Andrew Miller deep, even. Bellinger must have a solid work ethic to be where he is and make so many adjustments at the minor league level but I do feel his family history has made him an entitled bitch.

If idiots like Taylor, Kike, Dozier, and Pederson are irritated about playing time, they're delusional.

The only player who has any right to complain is Max Muncy.

Such a disappointment that this team is not in one accord. The last thing we need with the dropoff in tangible production.

Honestly, I think it is Puig, Kemp, Maeda and Dozier(He has apparently been somewhat ticked even with how shitty he has played) that have complained about playing time. I am sure there are others that are not tied to the usual suspects.

They need to just cut Dozier. He's hurt, ineffective on both sides of the ball, and is an asshole.

The nerve of Brian Dozier to complain when most pitchers are out hitting his sorry ass

I'd PH Kershaw before I'd use him

Apparently he is not even hurt anymore. He's said that what was hurt has since heeled. The problem is that something is out of whack and nobody can figure out what. Everything is the same as it has been his whole career, but he isn't squaring pitches up anymore.

I'm annoyed too, but I also get why he may be frustrated. He was arguably going to be the best 2B on the market this offseason, but has never gotten it going this year. Gets traded into a pennant race, struggles and then becomes a platoon guy which he’s never done before. Like I said, I get his frustrations, but you also have to be a good teammate.

He played himself into this role. Beyond garbage production. He has nobody to blame but himself.

Dozier will be fine. The games I have seen live he's made diving acrobatic stops. IMHO it's just am ill-timed slump and besides I don't trust Kike defensively at 2nd, most everywhere else Kike is very very good. I also don't trust Chase there and having Munce there is a recipe for disaster defensively.
