Possible that he's just too much of a nice guy. Looks like they're ultimately taking advantage of him. I guess if Luke gets canned, I have to imagine they'd just hand it to Shaw for the rest of the season. But options from the outside..I'm thinking Ty Lue would be among the faves. Maybe Earl Watson since he just keep winning for whatever reason. Maybe somebody with LA roots. Maybe Kevin Ollie if they still want to pique Durant's interest.... Zubac....Zubac, I say....is the leader in the LAL clubhouse when it comes to free throw shooting %. Dear god
Yep. Having a couple mercurial star vets lead the way is sure to make it tough on Brown. And then as you alluded..Simmons and his issues shooting the ball just limits what they're able to do offensively as a team. Embiid has to step out and basically give the paint to Simmons. If I'm running the Sixers, and I feel like Jimmy is truly a fit for the city and style we want to play, I'm seriously thinking about a Ben Simmons trade. Who would I target? Zach Lavine. I'd just go Simmons + Fultz for Lavine and never look back. Not that Lavine would be a perfect fit or that he's ready to win, but at least he can play off the ball and space out and be dynamic. He's young and has value. Fuck it. Brett Brown would be mad because Simmons is his guy, but if I'm Brand and I didn't hire Brett Brown to begin with, I don't give a damn. And Simmons is a terrible free throw shooter as well..a guy they're hoping will have the ball down the stretch in close games, right? It's one thing if you're struggling with your shot as a young player. Another thing entirely if you just don't shoot from the outside whatsoever. And there's a real possibility that he'll never be comfortable enough to take shots from the outside. Simmons may have to be this all-encompassing figure for his teams down the line, where he's sort of similar to Cleveland/LeBron..you just throw a bunch of shooters around him and tell guys to stay out of his way while he does his thing. Brand's been aggressive thus far, but he can't get scared now, has to figure out the fit. He'd definitely be questioned by the media, pundits, etc. if he were to try something like this because of Simmons' stature. I imagine Brand still has a relationship with Bulls' owner Reinsdorf, having played there initially in his career. But yeah, if they do something like this, they'd better be damn sure they want to keep Jimmy for the long run. And admittedly, that feels sketchy because of Jimmy's mercurial nature. But I'll be damned if someone wasn't already thinking of this before I was just now.... https://hoopshabit.com/2019/01/05/philadelphia-76ers-should-trade-ben-simmons/
Also don't imagine that Simmons would be mad at being in Chicago for obvious reasons. Big market and better city than Philly, for sure He could do his Kardashian thing just fine there
Oh and if we're looking for leadership on this next road trip, won't come from LeBron. Not in person, anyway LeBron James won’t travel with Lakers for upcoming road trip, will be re-evaluated in one week https://www.silverscreenandroll.com...ip-injury-update-groin-injury-record-schedule
Lakers can suck my balls today Playoff football FTW. Chargers almost with a vintage choke job @ BMore earlier Lol
They couldn't hit water yadda yadda and the Wolves were hot early. My biggest issue is having BI in the line-up as a starter he looks totally lost.
Ingram and Lonzo are the future? Let them be the future on another team. Age is the only thing those suckers have going for them.
