All 3 are better than Luke, but yes, Ty Lue is the best fit for what they want to do in going out and getting stars. He's handled more than a few. If they end up having to keep the youngsters, then Kidd and Jackson would be solid fits for development. That said, you sort of have to have a coach in place for free agency, so Ty Lue is probably out front. Ty Lue can definitely tell Kawhi why he doesn't want to be coached by Doc Rivers.
And I don't feel for him at all. That he's been a part of the Lakers essentially since 2003 is a hell of magic carpet ride for Luke, but Kupchak blew that draft pick, fucked us good there. Yet somehow it still pissed me off a little just because Wade has always made silly shots. He's out 1-2 weeks, MCL sprain. But yeah, he's sort of been an injury prone guy thus far.
