was scary. He took that thigh to the head and it looked like his neck crumbled. Was worried it was another Shazier situation
Not tonight. And maybe not going forward either if Flacco doesn't ever get them a lead. I knew it wasn't a Shazier deal because Shazier's legs went dead on contact. He couldn't move them. Conley was moving his legs for a bit before they got over there and told him to lie still. He may miss a week or two, sounds like. But his RAIDER career will still be cut short if he doesn't clean up his tackling. The rest of his game is up to par and better
Yeah, same. Interesting operation..state of the art. Looks good. I'm just happy there's a roof. Definitely a fan base that deserves an indoor venue..well, indoor with some outdoor features ( glass lid and natural grass). Could eventually rank among the loudest venues in the league, certainly the AFC. Not a ton of indoor venues in the AFC..just Indy and Houston, compared to 7 or 8 indoor venues in the NFC. I do wonder if the RAIDERS and the NFL are eventually going to bump heads over that sliding glass door and when it should be opened/closed. Closing it is better for home field advantage..opening it is better for " the show " with the strip as the backdrop. I remember MLB forcing the Astros to open their roof against the White Sox in the WS because it was " better for the show ". Astros had a much better record with it closed, so they made a little stink..and of course, lost the WS. Keeping that sliding glass door closed could be the difference in winning and losing some important games
So the Seahawks were a serious suitor for AB after he was released. The same Seahawks that just " reset the culture " in their locker room after Carroll/Bevell fucked over the team against the Pats in the SB. Holier than thou Russell Wilson to super-diva AB? Seems legit. RAIDERS tried to trade AB..allowed teams to contact AB to rewrite his contract..found no takers. So they did try to keep AB off the Pats..somewhat I guess, but no one wanted to help out.
Raiders schedule is as brutal as I've ever seen. This team is going to be much improved from last season, but probably still post an ugly record. A top 10 pick with our pick and a top 20 with Chicago's pick is ok with me though Keep building.
They better get a break with the schedule the 1st year in Vegas. Keep developing Waller, Key, Doss and the lower round/undrafted finds. Waller is the hot name @ TE in fantasy football right now..see a lot of people believing in what they saw. I remember him catching a drag and almost going the distance last year against Cincy, but really thought nothing of it
So even the Pats can't control the news cycle with AB. Then again they did have a psychopath on their roster so this is just child's play for them.
Smh Out of the fucking blue.. Jon Abram - torn rotator cuff and labrum Potentially out for the season. Take Conley instead.
Man, the way Abram plays, I just hope this isn't going to be the story of his career. Don't know if he was going to be the heart of the D this season, but they are going to miss his attitude/motor. This is just bad. He was everywhere making a difference on Monday, handing out hits. Smh 4.4 speed and physicality..no replacement for that
Abram to IR, season likely over Business about to pick up for undrafted rookie slot corner Keisan Nixon..Joyner probably moving to full time safety..or Riley will just slot in at safety Probably both
