Clips extend PG for $190M not including me he amount they owe him for this season. This could be the death knell for the Clips for the foreseeable future.
And George is still making excuses. Still. He publicly blames Doc Rivers..then publicly takes it all back and blames himself after the media/players/fans give him the business....so of course, the day before he inked the extension he hits IG making more excuses about how hard it was living in the bubble and how he wasn't able to " lock in ", etc. And this is coming from a dude that chokes in the playoffs every year. What..is there a bubble/pandemic every year? Lol George is a clown. If it weren't for all the money, I'd feel bad for him. He really shouldn't even have all this pressure to beat LBJ and AD because he's simply not in their class. In a way, this is the league's fault..Kawhi's too. Now that the Clips have George locked in, though, guess they can try to find a trade after this season. Because every time George inks a contract and says he wants to end his career in that particular place, he ends up requesting a trade in the not too distant future. He'll run again..right to the Wizards when they're tired of Russ. Yep. The path to a Pandemic P for Russ Westbrick trade is now set given their matching, terrible contracts. Ballmer already sizing up his Inglewood grand opening with Russ as his main attraction. Certainly won't be able to build any excitement while coming up short with the Boardman and his super-load management leading the way + Pandemic P. Ballmer really should've just gone to Seattle. The W was right there. He couldn't lose
No banner going up this season. Saving it for next season with fans. Repeat and raise 2 banners at once? Sounds like the ring ceremony is still opening night though
Caruso and all of these injuries, man. He might have to die in order for THT to live. Smh Laker blood sacrifice Gotta shake the injury bug. Being the dirty work guy probably doesn't help. Gotta figure out how to stay healthy..or he's gonna open the door for THT and get Wally Pipp'd
Pg. LeBron, Shroder, Cook Sg. KCP, Tucker, Caruso Sf. Matthews, Kuzma, McKinnie Pf. Davis, Montrezl, Kostas C. Gasol, Morris, Cacok Mascot udley I'm good with that rotation. Davis and Lebron rest a lot which opens minutes for Kuzma and Tucker to break out. But it's gonna be hard to get Kuz a steady 25 to 30 mpg in meaningful games unless they give him both the backup PF and SF minutes. Gasol probably will play about 15 to 20 min, with Montrezl play like 25 with Morris getting the garbage time from whatever Davis and Kuzma don't pickup. KCP gotta play only like 15 and at most 20 and Matthews at most 15 leaving a good 25 for tucker and 15 to 20 for Caruso backing up both backcourt spots. Shroder probably gonna play 25 to 30 since LeBron is gonna split his time between PG and SF. That's 16 players. Is 17 allowed? So they can go pick up LiAngelo.
