...and that might be the last time we see Kershaw pitch in a Dodger uniform... If it is the end of Clayton, fate has not been kind to him with this type of game and exit.
This is ugly...the stone cold truth, but fucking ugly. Struggle to win 2 out of 3 from the Rockies and Dbacks, and have a big historic game against a below .500 team like the hapless Padres. It has masked very well the level we are really at against a good team like these scumbag Brewers...but that's the way it is...really.
No surprise, Machado got the night off against the Gnats, just like he did against them a couple series ago, but he played all three games against us. And Darvish (and I get he's not having a great season), will not make his scheduled start this series, but they made sure he pitched last series. Pretty blatant form of collusion if you ask me.
fuck it we all knew it would be STL and wainwright my godfather being a diehard cardinal fan doesn't make it easier
kershaw saying he “felt something in his elbow”, and the chances of his pitching in the postseason are “not looking great”
Maybe he takes a discount to stay but I don't think the Dodgers will offer him the most money on the open market. The idea of him in another jersey makes me sick so I hope he's back
The 78 wins by the poverty Padres are their most in a season since 2010. They said they’d stop the Dodgers from winning a division title and the only way they know how to do that is help another team win the title. Bottom 5 organization in all of sports.
Visiting family in the eastern time zone, so I was going to give up the ship if Turner hadn't delivered with the bases loaded. Not sure how our old friend bzoo does it regularly. If it was Kershaw's finale with the Dodgers I'm glad he didn't get saddled with the loss. Hope they can find a way to keep him, although I'm not optimistic. Fuck Graterol and fuck any other pitcher who pouts on the mound instead of backing up third or home. My old school baseball heart doesn't tolerate that shit. Thank you to Nosemar for pointing it.
