nah. if the Cards plunk the Dodgers again, clear the benches again and the Cards get warned and their pitchers get the spotlight..basically a rerun of Game 1. what AGon did worked..Wainwright lost command of the inside of the plate and he got ran.

 

Oh I understand just fine. It affects the other team too. They rely a lot more on that inside intimidation pitch much more than we do. Like I said he's the sole reason why this series is tied and we are that close to being down 2-0. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go up and in on kemp next game.

that's why you let them shoot themselves in the foot and do it again and increase the spotlight on what they're doing. Dodgers are the most talented team and don't need to start plunking. tryin to take this team out of it's character is bad idea.

The cardinals get no flack for their constant drillings. And if I remember correctly it was a brawl last june against the DBAGS that sparked that whole 42-8

 

did you watch the game? he retired 16 straight while working inside and Wainwright got ran because he couldn't.

both teams get warned, but the offending team usually gets the spotlight from the umps.

aside from that..the narrative has already been written here..the umps aren't idiots. they already know the Cards are plunking us.

Nope. didn't watch a single pitch. So that further proves my point. He was still able to work inside yet both teams were warned. But had he hit someone he would have got run. You can pitch inside if you have the control to do so.

Do you watch baseball? The offending team gets the spotlight yet regardless which team has the first bean ball gets run. Doesn't sound like much of a spotlight to me.

 

i think the highlight of the night in the game thread, outside of VRP predicting a 6-2 loss for us, was Koufax showing up to complain about the bullpen and vanishing after Chinchilla's blast. Lol you missed some eventful stuff

 

Did I say start a brawl? A brawl nearly started yesterday because their hothead catcher got upset that one of our guys was upset that our guys are continuly getting plunked. I said a brawl helped ignite a 42-8 run that turned around a season. if you want to continue to make assumptions because you want to argue be my guest.
