Oddly enough, the first time I read Bernie Sanders I read it as Barry Sanders. I thought, "the guy would probably be the greatest president our country has ever seen, and then quit mid-term for absolutely no reason."

Wow...religious persecution...didn't we leave years ago to escape this sort of stuff? I, myself, am in the Jehovah's Witness Protection program.
Aside from all this, isn't the worst thing we've seen so far in the playoffs... worse that deGrom owning us...worse than the "slide"... worse that Joe Torre...really, Gary Sheffield's fucking ties?

its like Mammy always said as she set down her beer

"Anything worth doing is either Illegal, Immoral or Fattening"

when viewed in THAT light hell fattening is the least trouble you can get into...

It's actually far worse than the video intones. The Susan G. Komen Foundation is litigation happy and sues all sorts of other cancer researchers who use the wrong trademarked phrase. use the color pink or other nonsense. You would think that all breast cancer cure efforts would be gracious with each other and they all are... except for Komen who as sues nearly everyone in that industry.

They whole gig is run by heartless attorneys with endless deep pockets for the marketeers all aimed at pulling your heartstrings for a donation and keeping $.89 out of every dollar for themselves

They are not alone either. I read a recent story about how Goodwill tries desperately to hide that it is a highly profitable "for profit" corporation posing as a non profit while making its money off of the back of disadvantaged workers. It was a scathing 60 Minutes style story

So many shit charities out there that spend so little of their money on actual work. It's a shame they can swindle money out of people trying to do something good.

Ok, fkags. I'm going on my annual golf trip so I'll be MIA. Five days of golf, beer, and conduct and acts so deplorable that decorum prevents me from listing them here.

Fuck the Mets, bring on the Cubs!

Interesting way to liven up a picnic by not telling people what you've done

Yea, that would be hilarious. I think the initial reaction would be that they'd spit it out thinking it was spoiled.

You can yell at me that you don't care about my fantasy team but thought I would ask anyways:

I gotta start two of the following players and am not sure who I should. I got Cobb (limited in practice and going against SD), M. Wallace, Watkins, and J. Stewart

I'm leaning Cobb and Watkins with Wallace going in for Cobb if any news of a more serious injury to Cobb on Sunday.

Totally agree with that, except that Watkins has been so hit and miss that if Cobb is cool, Cobb/Wallace may be the safer bet.

As something of a professional in the industry, I suppose I will chime in. First, what an uninspiring group. Cobb and Watkins if they go (hopefully you know about Cobb before the afternoon games). Wallace is an ok fill-in for either if they are hurt, but feels like a roll of the dice. It wouldn't surprise me if Stewart finished with negative points this week, and I would go WW hunting before playing him.

Late game guys who might be on waivers that I would have no problem playing if Cobb can't go: Kamar Aiken, Buck Allen (if Forsett doesn't play), Torrey Smith, Anquan Boldin - basically anyone from the Baltimore v SF game.
