true but even more so now... with the momentum of winning two consecutive series against good teams coupled with the giants struggling
Someone throwing a complete game would help too Oh there's only one pitcher capable and he's hurt? OK then at least we have some off days coming
Rays should be forced to lower their price on Archer since he has a higher ERA than Bud fucking Norris.
Bud fucking Norris should be forced to actually play better than Archer too they both suck if you ask me
Archer will have a private meeting with Friedman and the nerds before Tuesday's game and let them know he's gonna be as awful as possible to lower Tampas asking price so he can get traded to LA. Calling it......
Been keeping up on the sports page here, and not much is being said about Archer being dealt anywhere but I have to agree. I'm more interested in seeing how B McCarthy pitches in game 2. I also have enjoyed watching that SF team tumble in their 2nd half start, and they're losing to the Reds tonight.
Will the Dodgers trade for Archer 5 mins before game time tomorrow? He is immediately named the Dodgers starter and rushes into the locker room to change jerseys?

It may not work, and God knows we are all used to the late and post season fail, but getting another pitcher would be somewhat of a replacement for CK...a Sale or whoever. No one can take his place, of course, but with McCarthy pitching as he is, another guy could possibly equal the output of Kersh were he out there...and with the hopeful consistency of the rest of the SR, and the bp holding up, I hope we dont stand pat. Another bat would be nice, too. We'll see pretty soon.
Very high in the zone. He usually is, but the ball moves down before it crosses...but it didn't the other night. Release point it looked like.
