He had just started playing some rehab games in the minors. Was about a week or two away from being back with the Madres
Well damn @JoeTrezz Padres RHP Mike Clevinger on Fernando Tatis Jr.'s suspension: "This is the second time we've been disappointed with him. You hope he grows up and learns from this and learns that it’s about more than just him right now.”
padre fans… — you guys buy all your players — you guys trade for whoever you want — you guys cheat — wait… uh, wut?
Joe Musgrove on Tatis Jr: "He's a young kid. He's going to learn his lessons or whatnot. But ultimately, I think you got to start showing a little bit of remorse and you got to start showing us that you're committed to it and you want to be here." that’s nice joe but do you really think we’d forget?… fucken douchebag hypocrite
Oh look a built in excuse. They put the same thing in your normal everyday athletes foot cream that they do in your steroid regiment. How convenient for the league. This is pure protestant and Catholic get out of jail free cards if we like you. Nah fuck these cats. If you cheat your contract is void. Not by the team but by the league. You can still come back after your 80 day suspension. But you need a new contract. And bylaws should stipulate that you can't go back to the same team for at least a calendar year. You have to sign elsewhere. And give 10 percent back to a charity that funds baseball for inner city kids. Take baseballs biggest real problem to fix baseballs biggest perceived problem.
"Let's not start sucking each other's dicks yet" -----------------------Mr.Wolf It's funny, but I always avoid over confidence...it has an ugly way of doing a 180° turn on you...
I think you've got some pretty good rules that should be instituted, but, unfortunately, that union would explode with all it's substantial power against them. But I like 'em.
I find your lack of faith disturbing. But then that would make me a sith lord so nevermind, I didn't say nothing.
You can usually write off the first couple of incidents showing lack of good judgement to the player just being young. At some point though, you have to accept that this is who he is and what you will have to expect going forward. And that's exactly why I couldn't understand the Padres committing to that huge contract long before it was necessary... they hardly had a chance to know him.
