Those 737-700's are golden. It's the 737 Max 8 and 737 Max 9 that have the errant software sensor override bug
Nah, I’m North Island, but that hardly matters in a country this size. It’s pretty shocking for it to happen here in a place like this, but on the other hand, not really. We have government in power who only 36% of the country voted for. Any “right wing” speaker invited to the country gets shut down with mass protests and from the government itself. The middle class is getting reamed and ignored. England had Brexit, you guys have Trump, we have some Aussie fucktard with guns. You remove people’s voices, shit like this goes down. The response is to shut down the voices even more, ban guns, blah blah blah. Until it happens again. The fact that the visiting Bangladesh cricket team went home because they think New Zealand is unsafe I find insane. They’d rather go back to that shithole? Wow. But yeah, this guys done us no favours. Pretty much gifted the people he hates more power, more emotional support to shut down freedom. Absolute ball bag. These people were unarmed easy targets, who happen to be muslims. Muslims aren’t the big bad over here, to slaughter kids like that is a special kind of evil. Gotta say, I would be a lot more upset if the opposite happened and a Muslim run riot on New Zealanders. I guess that makes me a horrible person.
i'm gonna limp back from the central coast today in keeping w the day nature has made sure everything is green truly amazing time to hug the coast
total vege trip to clear the air between my ears Hearst castle, piedras blancas lighthouse, great food, interesting people and zacapa 23 stayed in a place w jacuzzis and all sorts of quiet not sure what they used to insulate this place but it was full and i never heard anything unless my ear was on their door stopped at everything we could including harmony, morro bay, paso robles, el captitan...did you know there is a bunch of cabins north of 101? even drove back to Burbank and hung blinds at the school took the girl out for a little St. Paddy's cheer and left w her cursing every chick in the parking lot if i had more Jameson's tomorrow might be a little sideways as it is she is snoring rather loudly and i'm watching twilight zone if any of you snores is looking for something amazing to do w the girl its truly gorgeous out that way made it up to big sur and the ragged coast what i love about that area is that unless you're daft it's instantly engaging in every situation i think its sort of like Ruve, Irish and huh? bumping into each other at the bar you can try to look away but that's not going to happen
there's a joke or limerick in there somewhere but i really don't want to pursue it... A man from Nantucket likes this. .
Big Cayucos fan here. The charm of it is that it's been the same for years. No sprawl. You can tear down a home and build on that footprint. No expansive new developments like you see in some of the other coastal towns, especially Pismo. Next time you're there check out The Smokehouse for fish tacos or Schooner's for an afternoon cocktail in the bar watching the sun set over the pier.
My sorry ass dragged in from Las Vegas after a weekend of college hoops, gambling, golf and good food with a wee nip of the dew mixed in. Those wee nips of dew are why I feel like complete dog shit today. Thankfully I'm self employed.
A bit of Jameson, a bit of beer, a lot of vodka, wine with dinner and a little cognac after was my witches brew for Saturday afternoon and Sat night. This is hardly a regular occurrence or I wouldn't be at the ripe late middle age I am. Gathering with old college friends brings out the 21 yr old in me.
the mussels were delicious everywhere and we grabbed a steak at sow's ear was really shocked to see what they've done to Pismo used to take the atv's up there and it was nothing like it used to be in fact on the way back Sunday i was going to drop down and see if we could take a dune buggy out for a spin fat chance of that happening because as soon as i got off i just wanted to back on total gridlock everywhere, took half an hour just to get back on the freeway further north there's no fast food or any type of condo's period and i love that as well the locals complain about it but don't live there then it would be nice if they could get some better food and a little more variety
i actually spoke to a number of the proprietors in the area and its just waaaay too tough not to mention you have to survive off seasons but of all the business i see out there and participate in restaurants are obviously the toughest many of them have changed hands since i was last there as well just don't get why you can't find sushi or Thai or anything but steak and cooked fish? what i've also noticed lately is that many of the restaurants i frequent, even in LA, have the owner cooking and i have no idea how to do that so... and besides my next move is probably going to be out of state w the taxes the way they are i've had so many friends leave in the last couple of years it boggles the mind i'm paying like 20% more on state this year OVER federal WTF? after property taxes and 10% on everything i buy? fuck this shitshow. not to mention the siege mentality of the FTB and this free for all culture will be visiting ID and OKC this year OKC is especially attractive since the weed business is where we were here 10 years ago
I have family in Nevada and they seem to really like it. Places that before would have been a silly idea are now actually good opportunities. Laughlin comes to mind. Desert climate, near the Colorado river, low taxes, tourism, retirees, lots of job growth, rising home prices. You could have a nice big spread and spend 75% of the year there then travel during the worst stretch of summer heat if you wish. Or have a small cheap beach spot somewhere on the California coast to spend summers in.
i drove tractors know how to grade land and take care of a larger piece of property from my days as a kid i wouldn't mind at all doing something like that because it keeps you limber and involved w the earth its hard work but extremely gratifying so that appeals to me i love Cali but its just over and time to move on to something better i don't need much but i'd love to run a business somewhere i wasn't penalized like here the more hard working people i see leave its not hard to see what the score is the only answer is to keep raising taxes and those "rich" people everyone complains about aren't that rich but the state is sure they are
