    I've done a 180 on Puig. He's our 8-spot hitter, yet has more HRs than anyone on the Braves, Red Sox, Philly, Gnats, Mariners or Cardinals. Not bad, huh? And how many runs has he saved in right?

    I'll take a little inconsistency at that spot in exchange for that production.

    His wRC+ is above league average and he plays good defense.
    Valuable, yes.
    But if you could replace him with a volume hitter like Verdugo with not much drop off defensively, that bat plays much better for a team with a number of other streaky guys.

    I said it the other day as well as ColoradoKid. Puig, if you take $ per WAR has already paid for himself. Could be attractive to another team who sees something mechanically fixable. Only has a year left on his current deal though.
