You ARE being a Dick. Any man that scored that trim must be given a measure of respect.

So don't be a dick. OK?

On the other hand I don't see him as such a dick because I have years of dealing with the management of really smart engineer scientist types that are so far out there that there are times I have to translate what they say into normal human just to see if I follow along. And I follow along well. Some of the more crazy brilliant types really struggle with communications nuances and far prefer talking to other techies where they can be themselves without their more focused, clipped and esoteric replies causing heartburn as it does with normal sales or marketing or clerk types.

Most every one of these type people I've known are almost bizarre in their ability to drill down deep into a given topic while at the same time they are truly lost when it comes to the banalities of shallow social interactions. Talk to a deep enough techie and they have a language and reference points of their own and it's our issue if we don't understand them.

Greinke isn't a techie, that I know of, but his speech patterns with numerous concise examples and compete absence of exaggeration or superlatives usually indicate someone very smart and careful to say only what he means. Kind of the opposite of our modern insinuation heavy media. So he doesn't mesh perfectly with reporters? So fucking what. You'll note he gets on fine with Kershaw.

I'll cut him some slack... he's still 8-3 and we're 12-4 in his 16 starts so misguided calls for his head on a stick are, as usual, meant solely to provoke inflammation

...and besides that trim is hot so stay chill...

It's enough hard work making one. They can have a bare bones one.

I'd rather type what I'm thinking rather than yelling and looking like a 4-year old. ;)

    I watched both versions.

    U.S. office takes the cake.

She was on Friday Night Lights, if you like looking at hot chicks that show has plenty of them. A-Rods ex Minka Kelly was on it.

I'm all for dark, undertone, tragic comedy but the U.S Office is so much funnier lol

The American audience is trained to like the formula of the US version and there is nothing wrong with that. Britts are on such a high horse about comedy.

The first 3 seasons of the US Office is as good as anything. Steve Carrell did great with his tragic character, but actually made him lovable and hilarious. The Jim-Pam story line ended after season 3 which is why the remaining seasons feel like a different show. They also became more self aware and instead of being a sneaky under the radar show, they began appeasing the growing casual audience and dumbing it down a bit (Ryan becoming a hipster, all the pop culture references, etc.) .

But the first 3 seasons of the US Office is as good, if not better than the OG.

I disagree, I guess it's up to ones comedic preference but I would take Gervais over Carrell any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I don't find Carrell funny at all.

Ultimately, it's just personal taste. I can't stand Ricky's acting/voice (wow..ok racist) and think Steve Carrell is awesome.

I like dry sarcastic humor more than slapstick. Gervais' self depreciating humor all the while he's the only one not in on it is the shit I find hilarious. The time in the second season where he's promoting his CD and it sold like 85 copies or something and everyone knows it sucks but him was the best thing going on either version on any season.

Like I said different strokes for different folks. I also love Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and Benny Hill.
