Someone posted it already, but since it will be our biggest news of the Winter Meetings, it deserves its own thread! JimBowdenESPNxm JIM BOWDEN Dodgers and Aaron Harang are close to an agreement Will post $ details as soon as they come out
I hope its one year, and tbh don't care (at this point) how much money it is for. I really think its for two yers, knowing Ned, but one year it doesn't matter the money cause its either Harang we get or Eveland in the #5 spot
The fact that the Padres declined his 5 million dollar option and the fact that he openly said he wants to stay in So Cal make me think that even Ned isn't stupid enough to go two years. But even as I type that I can't convince myself of it lol.
Yeah, you're talking about a guy who gave a similar dollar figure to Juan Rivera after getting released, a raise to Dioner after getting released, and a raise to TG Jr after getting non-tendered...
Not so close apparently... @JimBowdenESPNxm JIM BOWDEN Ned Colletti just text me that the Harang deal is NOT done done....so we'll keep it at close to a deal 12 minutes ago via web
See there? The man expects a one year deal with the Dodgers, but Ned is trying to talk him into taking a three year contract with a no trade clause.
@NedColletti Ned Colletti Harang deal on the back burner for now; I just learned Cody Ross was available and looking for a three year deal. 1 minutes ago via TweetDeck
I've never seen such a thing. Why do we draft pitchers every year if we just plan to block them? I guess Eovaldi and Rubby are gonna pitch in AA until 2014?
