agreed too late now, but i'd almost prefer to start kersh then go to buehler idk, won't matter if we can't put up some runs the first 4-5 innings after that it's essentially over
I thought of that also that it could be a good strategy but Buehler has been awful every time they tried bringing him out of the bullpen, and Kershaw has been good when they've done it with him
Buehler cannot over pitch. He can’t get too amped up. There is a sweet spot, but at his age, I think he’s still trying to figure it out, especially in this kind of pressure situation.
Joc looks like a right wanker out there...2017 it's not. That was then, this is now. Many be he can fling.himself in front of Chacin's slider and get on that way.
I think our season is over tonight, but if they get a lead early, Buehler needs to be on an extremely short leash(like he loses the zone again for more than one batter) with the idea that Jansen can get you the 8th and 9th, Kershaw can get you the 6th and 7th and you just need to get to the 5th with a fucking lead. If you can save Hill and Baez til after the 5th with the lead, that is the most ideal situation. If we are losing after the 5th and there hasn't been a Hader sighting, go find something better to do with your night.
I was a split second from falling asleep and then my phone rang Now I'm going to be wide awake during this depressing night
Polar opposite Manny's we have have had. ManRam woulda crushed two dongs with a reception like that. Him waving his arms to the crowd to get louder let me feel that they had gotten to him.
I viscerally dislike Joe Buck. No reason. He's a horrendous announcer obviously but that isn't it. Maybe it's the tremendous sense of self importance.
