I think this describes pretty much everyone here. If you want to clean it up for yourself or for your daughters, then by all means. But for us? Nah. We don't think you're foul enough. Get some rest. See you Saturday.
Then I imagine then whatever Dave has done so well, just seems so remote when a game like this in the playoffs occurs. I hope he pulls a rabbit out of his hat another time at least, because that's what we need before Clayton. One more.... He has been a magician to get here with basically 2/5 of a starting staff at any one time during the season, given the undulating personel month after month. And he only has to use what they give him. But the 20 year old kid and the faded Japanese star are just showing up soft in the playoffs, so far. Perhaps putting any blame on him for last night is unfair, especially when the offense hibernates like it did. But the pitching sucked. Maybe it had to happen, and it's over and done with. Suffice to say then, he certainly didn't push any of the right buttons...nope. And like the Japanese admiral said after Pearl Harbor..." I fear all we have done is awaken a sleeping giant"... I sure hope not.
The japanese guy and the kid are both overworked at their respective stages. Its possible that Maeda in his desire for his contract perks to kick in kinda overextended himself towards the end of the season.
Well, I tend to agree...and not that the blame game is going to change what will eventually happen, since we all play that game so often, I guess the assembled multitude of pitchers by the FO is far from solid. Maybe it will work...idk. Hope so. But I do know, that I wish, right now, we had a staff like some other teams...even though we are the team two games away from the first WS appearance in 28 years. Just seems reasonable...I'm wondering if "resilient" is quite enough. Code of Conan: To crush your enemies To see them driven before you To hear the lamentations of their women
I'm so nervous about tonight. Feel like the winner will win the series. Cubs would have so much pressure in game 6 vs Kershaw if they head back down 3-2.
You might be able to fix it by changing the theme. Scroll down to the very bottom left of this page, you will see "Forum software by XenForo", above that it shows your active theme - it will say "Black" or "Dodger Blue"... something like that. Click on the name of your theme and try choosing a different one. I assume you have an Android tablet and are using Chrome as your web browser. What's weird is when I run the site on my Android emulator, the Black theme isn't even an option.
:irish:like this don't apologize passion is what makes a good fan and good poster and if you weren't potty mouthed we would have banned you immediately it's like a locker room here -- guys talking like guys racist don't do it you'll regret it plus if we win we'll make you stick to it to not fuck the mojo up sleep is overrated try methamphetamines
look at it this way bkitches... • chances we win tonight w/mierda < 50% • chances we win game 6 w/kersh > 50% • chances we win game 7 w/hill = 50% win a 3-game series vs the cubs w/kersh and hill starting 2/3?... doubt there's anyone here who wouldn't have taken these odds a month ago
so some of you probably already know this but i'm going to share it anyway since i didn't never sat in the left field pavillion but you have access to field level from there so you can walk over and stand behind the seats wherever you feel like it if you don't mind standing and field level has those little bar ledge things to set a beer and lean on my tickets last night were in reserve but we said we were going to eat at Tommy Lasordas and they let us down to field level we got a spot right behind home plate next to some older ladies that finally got annoyed w us an left as fans did too the one lady said she arrived at 230 to hold her spot and when we got there at 345 every spot was taken but no one asked for tickets or bothered us in anyway so there you go Dodger brothers only issue was when people stand up and reading the scoreboard... but i would assume for most every game you could scout prime seats that weren't occupied
If you had told me back in July we would be 2 games from a World Series, I'd have you to stop smoking what you were smoking, or at least give me some. In a way, we are playing with house money. But I think everyone in the organization knows this is a must win Game. They threw the dice with the youngster, and it didn't work out. Although Maeda is not ideal, there really is no choice. Just like Rich Hill, Maeda is due for at least one good outing. Go Dodgers!
win tonight and we just have to win 1-of-2 in chicago w/kersh and hill going that said, i have almost zero faith in maeda
