GAME THREAD DODGERS/GIANTS: Opening Weekend in San Fran

What a fucking miserable game. Should've won 3, but we lost 3 instead.

Went to work it was 5-0. Shit rotation and bullpen.

 

I can't believe the FO sees what happened here and not be worried. They have to be concerned.

 

You only watched half an inning? Kazmir was junk. Grooved practically everything

 

I'm pissed. We sucked hard this series.

But it's still early. It's hard to believe the BP will be this bad all year long - they'll move to the mean over a larger sample size. That being said, the FO needs to pay close attention to the SP and BP and make a move by the trade deadline if these problems persist (and hell, it'd probably be smart to even if we see a lot of improvement).

 

What sucked the most about this series is that none of the Giants starters were all that over powering except for Mad Bum and even he wasn't that sharp. We were up 5-0 on Cueto, we had a no-no to the 8th up two runs against Cain, and had a shutout up to the fifth with a 3 run cushion against Peavy. And alphabet soup didn't look that good in his first start.

We should have won at least one, and possibly two of those games if our pitching didn't collapse in such a hurry.

And it wasn't like this was something the FO didn't know about.

but it just sucks losing to these ass-hats.
