The two things that Story had on Seager was the HR's and that he was playing fantastic defense. I will admit that Seager has performed well up the middle, but he isn't going to make a play that is going to make you leap out of your seat and say "WHOA!". Story was doing that. He was overshadowed by CarGo and Arenado, but it was becoming evident that he was the one carrying the team through that great stretch before he got hurt. Had the Rockies pulled back into the race and maintained, he would have been a legit threat to take ROY from Seager simply because Story makes the shiny defensive plays, he was probably going to hit 40+ HR's with 120ish RBI and would have been viewed as a key piece to getting a team that was expected to be in last place into the playoff hunt. I'm not saying he deserved it by any means, but he was putting up the numbers and making plays that catches peoples attention.
Let's see if Hill can top Anderson's high water mark of 14 pitches. In all seriousness, I have extremely high hopes for this guy.
With Kershaw and Hill, we have the two best curveballs in baseball Let's score off this gimmicky dork
