So close to turning on one of the RAIDER games I DVR´d, you don´t even know I´m thinking the Baltimore Ravens road game is on the menu Speaking of Baltimore..if this LAD organization does not add Manny Machado after next season...
Same amount of walks as K's is different. Defense is still there and mind you he has been hitting 8th about half the time. Not alot of pitches to see but admittedly he hasn't performed well in the clean up spot. Just saying plenty of others to talk about. I haven't seen all the games but I haven't seen that many bad swings. Could just be me.
Nobody questioned his defense. Said "Offensively"... I said earlier that he's been having better at-bats, so it's not surprising at this point that the strike out and walks are 1:1 right now. Let's see how that goes after a larger sample size. But that swing is brutal.
They were talking about Manny on the broadcast earlier and as much of a shit head as he was, I wonder if him and Puig around at the same time would have been a good thing for Puig. For everything dumb about his attitude and effort in the OF, Manny was one of the hardest workers behind the scenes. I feel he would have been the perfect mentor for Puig as you are right, when he presses, he gets way off on his front foot. When Manny would go into a slump he would try to sit back and let the ball get deep and drive it the other way. When Puig is in a slump, he tries to homer his way out of it, which is not what made him so great when he first came up and it causes him to be way out on his front foot. Man, I miss Puig routinely blasting the ball to right when they pitched him away...
They´ve gotta give me Machado or Harper or this shit is just gonna be #unwatchable4life Lol Crabtree was lookin like a Hall of Famer in that last meeting w/ the Ravens
The book on Pence with 2 strikes is slow away and he throws that fastball right down the fucking pipe... I mean, what the fuck
Overmatched him on the first two, lays the third one down the middle. Doesn't matter because they're not scoring anyway.
