On the bright side, the 2013 Dodgers(our best team imo) were 30-42 to start the season. If only we could have that Puig.
We've seen this picture before. We know how it ends. This team kinda reminds me of that super rich old couple that lives in a gigantic mansion on the hill. They invite you over, and they still have a black and white TV and a VCR.
BTW, in case y'all didn't notice, it's May. When does the bullshit "It's early" excuse officially end?
looking ahead at the schedule in 10 days on may 11 wood is tentatively scheduled to pitch against syndergaard that ought to end well
It's not just the losing, it's how they're losing. Seems they aren't mentally into the game. The hitters are clueless. Never seen so many weak ass swings and takes in my life and it's not like they're facing Mets' staff, Bumgarner or Arrieta every night. And it's not like they're hitting in bad luck. They're not. Most of the outs are Ks or weak ground balls or pop ups. Yes, it's April and we're hoping this is just a slump and not a trend.
Throughout the year, guys are going to get hot and cold with the bat. You hope that everyone doesn't get cold at the same time, however that's exactly what's happening right now. They're are only a few guys who have hit somewhat decent over the last 7 games. To make matters worse, the 3 guys in the middle (Turner, A-Gon and Puig) have all been literally miserable over the last 7. I'm pretty sure the bats will come around shortly. I'm not as confident in the bullpen, but I'm pretty positive that reinforcements can be filled via trade/internally. The rotation is what I'm most concerned about...
