Baseball is probably the easiest sport to manage strategically... Dave isn't horrible, but he does not give us an advantage. At all. he should be able to buy us extra outs and ABs and put us in the best position to succeed with the roster he has. Be a step ahead of the opposition. He doesn't do that. The 6th and 7th innings with his usage of Kike shows that. Make the Padres make a move. Waste an arm. Get your guys ABs against pitchers that they have a higher chance of succeeding. It's not what he's doing wrong so much. It's that he doesn't bring much to the table strategically.
Lol. I love it when pitchers point to second after they walk someone. Like "we got this". Nah. No way you can turn a double play Hatch. You'll miss Seager by 3 feet
I just cannot get over that Crawford is still in left field right now. And Kike is on the bench, completely wasted on a pinch hit appearance with nobody on base against a RHP.
People still talking about how hard this jerkoff throws. Big fucking deal. Men everywhere in no time at all. Over rated schmuck.
And, relatively speaking... Compared to relievers from all the other teams... He really doesn't throw that hard. I mean, he does. But not unlike so many others. And he's much less effective.
Myers sucks. I'm not giving an ounce of credit to this Hatcher guy until he can give 5 solid appearances in a row. Hell, 5 solid batters in a row.
