I guess when we can score lots of runs having a scrub like Anderson to eat some innings isn't too bad
Toles and Joc against both and a Reddick/Puig platoon in RF for the playoffs? That seems like the move as of now.
Giants tied it, Cardinals won, but I imagine that will be under protest with a decent chance of them replaying it
Molina hit a game winning double with a runner on first, looks like it should have been ruled a ground rule double (which would mean the runner is on 3B and not scoring) but the umpires seem to have ran out without giving the Reds manager much time to challenge
A question whether Molina hit a ground rule double, or whether it was a true double that scored a run. Reds tried to challenge, but the umps walked off the field. They're saying a challenge has to be immediate at the end of a game, where the rulebooks says they have some time to challenge. BUT, I've never witnessed a replaying of a baseball game.....ever.....because of a bad call.
oh contraire my friend numbers DO lie anytime more than a few of them are present there's nothing but lies
Runner on first, Yadier Molina hit a double that bounced and went beyond that stupid wall and bounced and hit that stupid barrier beyond the wall in LF in Busch and came back into the field of play and the umps let it play on as a live ball instead of calling it the ground rule double it should have been. Runner scored. Umps walked off the field because Price didn't challenge within 10 seconds of it happening and the umpires left the field and that was that.
