Good job Kenley, but that was scary. Didn't know Yellich could look so bad.

Offense was basically Mookie and Seager, and the pitching staff only made 1 mistake. Good, not great, game

big props to Julio getting us those 3 innings. *whispers*: good managing by Dave to not fuck around and pull him early, letting him get those 3

The cutter still cuts and he now throws a 4 seam fastball that doesn’t cut and tricks hitters. It’s super weird but also yeah: he gets way more whiffs than you’d imagine

Yelich gifted him 2 strikes, taking an 89 mph middle middle pitch and then swinging at a pitch 15 ft off the plate.

I mean, it has to be moving a ton, just late. I would like to see someone analyze that cause yeah it looks flat as shit.

Obviously much tougher than it had to be.

I don't blame Bellinger for trying to ambush Suter in the first AB after all the walks. But typically he hit a weak ass popup. Rios did the same thing later in the inning and just missed a slam which would have put this one away early.

They can get by with four inning Buehler against these guys. Won't work in the later rounds.

Good job by the pen (especially Julio) for picking him up. Fuck you Kenley for getting to Yelich in the 9th. I had to leave the room.

It’s not an anomaly either, because he’s been getting strikeouts all year. His command is odd too, because it seems like he hits his spot or he’s 2 feet off, not a lot in between.

I would have left him in for another and maybe even let him finish (no homo).

He used to miss location a lot when he was in his prime, too, but he had the great movement on the cutter to make up for it.

Going through all those Brewers relievers was pretty cool. Brewers game plan tomorrow is probably: ride woodruff+Hader for as many innings as possible if not the whole game. Game plan should be the same as today, knock out starter early and things can fall into place

Woodruff will be a bit more of a challenge than Suter.
