    It's a shame Emmet came apart against the bottom of the Giant lineup in the 5th. Looked like he was gassed. His first four innings were as strong an outing as we've seen from a Dodger pitcher this year.

    Watching SF last night makes you wonder how in the fuck they're still in contention (barely) for the final WC spot. Makes me think there are too many WC spots. Might have to thank Kike for the wild pitches. Pitcher saw him flailing like a drunk at one in the dirt so he decided to throw a couple more.

    When Mariachi Joe is good, he's really good. Nice to see the old Phillips again.

    But the cyclopean douchebag ump behind the plate allowed the bases loaded situation to happen by blowing two strike calls, by my figuring.
