Make it 3. Used a slider, that hard sinker and what looked like a 2 seamer. Didn't see any changes which is something that is important for him to stay a starter, but man there is a reason this dude has projections as a back-end reliever.

 

That was really interesting about what Joe Davis said about Pollock's elbow injury. Did not know that was why he injured it multiple times.

 

Just 2 Spring Training games but so far, it looks like hitting is not an issue (wait till playoffs I guess).

But yesterday, the team almost coughed up a 7 run lead. Pitching maybe an issue again.

 

The guys that coughed up the runs yesterday are not likely to see much if any time in the big leagues this season. Would not take much stock in the final score rather than the individual performances. Pitching is not expected to be a weakness.

 

Bah, Broussard is not doing well at all. Had high hopes for him, though I know a lot of reports on him is MR at his peak.

Command/Control pitcher that did not have it today. He has had good numbers in MiLB, but still projects as more of a AAAA guy.

 

Yeah making contact, but not good contact thus far.

 

Any chance Friedman was dropping hints about the trade with the talk about certain attitudes bringing down the clubhouse last year?
