    Oh joy, another bullpen game today!

    I still think they should call up Robbie Erlin. Not that he's anything special, but because he has major league experience and can eat up some innings - only until Julio or May return. Why even sign him otherwise?

    Instead, we get to watch The Scarecrow mismanage the pen for another nine innings, which will stretch them for the remainder of the weekend.

    And for those who say it's injuries and ineffectiveness of the starters that is to blame for the overworked pen, that is partially correct. But Roberts showed in the White Sox series that he's clueless as far as how to use his relievers, and this inefficiency just adds to the pen's overall strain.

    Okay, that beats a bullpen game. I like it!

    Sounds like another young arm who can reach triple digits, and he's skipping AAA ball to get here.

    from what i watched of Grove yesterday it looked like he had great stuff and made 2 strike mistakes
    later in the game he corrected that and struck out the side
    gotta remember he's a rook and learning on the fly!
    think he was tipping something idk

    not doubting the talent
    and i understand injuries have forced him into the rotation
    but ideally he should be getting his feet wet as a reliever
    just don’t feel he’s mlb ready as a starter

    My silent protest against the Sisters. No problem with Pride Night, but the Sisters are a borderline hate group despite their charitable endeavors.

    well that and the whole "we need to talk to your kids" crowd cause fuck that
    none of the gay people i know are down w that nonsense and remain low key like all of us should
    don't really like the pride thing but if it makes them feel better that's fine i guess
    just doesn't seem to be having its intended effect and the backlash is happening as we speak
    the lgb definitely needs to separate themselves from the fringe if they're smart
    pedos aren't cool and neither are the "sisters"

    was feeling bad about Sheehan having to start a game he never anticipated in DS against the hated ones on rainbow night
