    I could see it making sense with two outs, when you absolutely need the next hit to tie the game. But with the zero outs, you have a couple of opportunities to get that run in without having to take Donaldson out

    Yeah. I thought he had injury issues, but that does not seem to actually be the case. I think they had a number of good starters and took the opportunity to make the move for him to the pen to fix their issues at closer.
