Memphis lost to the Hornets like 140-70 the other day, I'm not even exaggerating the score, probably the worst asswhoopin I've seen in 30+ years watching the NBA. LAL better smoke Memphis tonight. I don't give a damn if Isaiah shoots 1-21 from the field and gives up 60pts on the other end, LAL better still win by 15-20
Geezus....you can't let the Griz get up on you 14 points by the first quarter. Give up more than 30 after 1.
Beat Cleveland and Denver and then go on vacation. Not really, but so many L's in a row this late makes it feel that way. Sitting on 32 wins..about where they were expected to before the season
And Isaiah is off to NY for an evaluation on his hip. Bon voyage, brodie. We hardly knew you..and it's a wrap.
Julius potentially playing against his future team tonight - Dallas. Dallas is probably going to make it easy on LAL this summer and look to max Julius out..much as I love Julius as a player, personally, I'd stop short of giving him the max and would be shocked if LAL matched a max offer as well. But I still think Popovich/Buford could be provoked into swapping Kawhi for Julius in a sign and trade this summer if all parties truly wanted to work something out where they all win..and Cuban loses.
Sign and Trade Julius and IT for Kawhi. IT can rebuild his career as Parkers replacement. His style will fit perfectly there. At the end of the day it becomes Julius, Clarkson, Nance for Kawhi and a late 1st rounder we got from the cavs. Good move.
pretty sure he's going to get damn close to max anyway wasn't that max cap negotiated by patrick ewing and his suitcase?
fucking love julius man his personality is starting to come out as well did he get married? great kid
I know this is a fluff piece, but he seems like a really good kid... http://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/la-sp-lakers-julius-randle-20180324-story.html
There's gotta way to keep Randle. He is the prototype of the new NBA player. Athletic, quick, twener (hybrid SF/SG) that can score and also defend above his weight class. If we keep this core of Kuzma, Randle, Ingram, Ball (with a lot of off season shooting practice), and hell even keeping Zubac, and Hart....that's a talented team. Add PG or Lebron (don't think it needs to be both), and we are probably a playoff team next year, and anyway to get another player in 2019, we can really start to challenge.
might be a fluff but it sort of confirms who i thought he might be nothing can ever be better than looking into your childs face and something about his postgame interviews just gave it away he's a big softy full of love lol
Don't like the idea of maxing Julius out, but I think I'd max Julius out at 16-18M or whatever it is over maxing Paul George out at 30M. Maybe just me, but I think I'd leave George where he is and go for Kawhi instead. Personally, my pecking order this summer ( not including LeBron because obviously he's #1 under any circumstance) would be: Kawhi > Julius > Chris Paul > Paul George Yeah, I'd even go for the older CP3 over Paul George..LeBron would probably be cool with either or maybe even lean towards his buddy CP3 himself. But yeah, I've seen all I need to see, felt CP3 was a smart enough player/enough of a winner to make it work with a ball dominant Harden before the season and he's proven that much..still feel he would do the same if Magic wanted to steal him away from the Rockets this summer. That'd be a strong blow to Houston's core. And in a way, it'd be pretty cool for Magic to right that wrong..CP3 really should be in his 7th year with the Lakers right now. George has just fallen for me, but maybe he'd reignite with LAL, I don't know? I watch him and I'm not moved..and it's been like 3 years since he's moved me..hell, almost pre-leg injury. That being said, Derek Carr has been recruiting the hell out of George on behalf of the Lakers, so..
