Funny thing is, Julius actually wanted out. Rifle through the reports. Julius asked out, wanted to be free to sign a big deal that LAL had no interest in giving him. And then he was met with the harsh reality..everybody watched him show up looking like the hulk for his contract year. Yeah, everybody can see that. That's what scouting and just actual paying attention does.
they're waiting to see if deandre jordan becomes available, then when he doesnt theyll add melo as a hail mary.
you mean professional players sometimes go harder when money is on the line. thanks for the insight bruh. a total revelation.
I won. you gotta look at the history. just like everyone here besides you shitted on that mozgov signing, the same is true with randle. Dsp has a long history of getting things right(except rube of course) but I do enjoy the dissenter banter from you. so serious question. is randle just doing really good again this year because of a contract year?
I wasn't even sure that Mozgov would start over Zu or Black, so whatever to that hail Mary attempt. And that signing wasn't even on this FO. This FO did away with him. As for your serious question..deal with it, dude. Julius went out there on the open market and found out people actually pay attention to how you work.
cmon bro, dont make me pull a quote from you. look you just gotta admit you were wrong about mozgov. you said it was a great deal. you said everyone is sleeping on him. you said he was gonna be very productive. you said he was worth the money. In the history of this site it was the biggest wrong ever. Rube and his mike brown prediction is a close second. look once you admit you were wrong it will help the discussion. I've been wrong once or twice as well.
Pull whatever you need. Definitely feels like one of those desperate times calling for desperate measures since you don't know what's up with Julius. I'm pretty sure you wanted Biyombo instead of Mozgov, IIRC, as if that would've made a difference. Biyombo held on in Orlando just long enough to get traded along with two 2nd round picks..for Mozgov. Lol And once again, the league tells the story.
Again? Lol Perhaps I need to rewrite that for you..Orlando signed Biyombo to that big contract and eventually shipped him out along with their own draft comp for Mozgov in return. I didn't even call bank..
And a new coach/coaching staff After all these injuries, if you tell me the prize is Zion, call in tank commander Byron and let the good times roll I don't think Zion would get the Wiggins treatment from LeBron Lol
David M. Grubb@DMGrubb 15m15 minutes ago So this was interesting. I was talking to some SKC staffers I know as the Lakers’ team bus is pulling off. Suddenly, Luke Walton comes around the corner. Bus gone. It had to come back for the coach. Damn shame.
Not only had to watch Randle ball out but flip the channel to ESPN and watch highlights of Russell scoring 12 straight to lead the Nets to a win as he drops 40 on the night. Wonder if Magic still thinks he isn't a leader.... Man.
I just hope the Suns don't get Zion. 9 lottery picks in the last 7 years and they're currently on a 17 game losing streak and still at the bottom. What a waste. If anything, the pick will provide another asset for a potential trade for the Lakers.
LeBron of all people calling out the other players for not putting basketball first lol.....so hypocritical. He's rode the Hollywood train since he got to LA
Nah, let's be real..LeBron was riding the Hollywood train before he got to LA and it hasn't stopped him from dominating the league. Personally, I'm glad LeBron is starting to call guys out and talk about guys being comfortable with losing. Leaders have to crack that whip sometimes. Kobe and Shaq did it, Magic and Kareem did it. Do it for now and for later. For this group and so the next group of guys that come in have an understanding about competing. The great players like AD and Kawhi get it..it's not a message for them and they know that already. The right guys will receive the message, they'll know who the leader is talking to. Better put their big boy pants on like Kobe told Pau years back. Can remember when Kobe, very publicly, wanted Bynum traded for Kidd. Bynum didn't pout. Bynum got his ass in gear in the weight room and morphed into dominant, young center. He was the pillsbury doughboy @ 18, and then a lean mean machine by 20, dominating guys that had been drafted ahead of him like Bogut.
