    Can you imagine if they'd kept that group together?
    Or better yet, kept Harden and and Durant and dumped Russ?
    But I can understand, because at the time, it wasn't obvious that the NBA was going to turn into a one-on-one league that was tailored to Harden's skills and Harden always choked in the playoffs.
    Oh wait. He still does.

    Russ has no one else to blame but himself. He is a PG who once had one of the best offensive weapons in Durant, and he kept ball hogging and bricking jump shots to the point KD couldn't stand it anymore.

    I don't think it was Dame that killed his soul. It was KD saying "FU Russ.....I'm joining the team we were up on 3-1 until your selfish play killed our chances."

    The repercussions on that series still is having an effect on the NBA as the "super team" took on a whole new meaning.

    Yeah, but he still went out and averaged a triple double 3 seasons in a row after Durant left and that was his niche and saving grace, definitley what was keeping him among the highly thought of players.

    But now, after this utter humiliation served up by Dame....Russ should be on his way out. He may be up for the rematch, but he just wants the money. He knows the L is coming. Russ is basically Sonny Liston right now
