He apparently called other stuff accurately like AD to LA and Horford to Philly. But I’m not celebrating yet.
Please, please, please let this happen. All the effort Popovich put into keeping both Kawhi and AD off the Lakers..I hope this LAL big 3 drives him to early retirement. All his worrying about the Lakers..he should be figuring out how he's going to tank and win another Duncan. Because without that, they got nothin in San Antonio. Nothin. Small market teams have to know that if they try to stifle LAL with collusion, that they eventually have to kiss the ring regardless. Resistance is futile.
Summer league starting today..much less interest. Norvell's 2-way contract is official Ricky Davis broke the Kawhi news yesterday. Lol RDambition, Woj, and everybody else has to hold the L. Maybe not Cuffs. He's usually way out in front
Petros & Money are a dogshit source of info ... but they had some guy on today who thought, well, what if Kawhi is messing with both the Clips & Lakers? What if he I stays in Toronto but drags his feet while all the other FAs sign elsewhere? Anyway ... wtf do I know? I'd like to see the Lakers dominate again, and I never liked the ClipJoint ever.
Not that crazy considering who Kawhi is. Which is a person we all know nothing about. but man if that happens, laker fans will totally implode
Wait, you have to be all kinds of evil to be that guy. Plus, you are not doing Toronto any favors by doing this either. Either he’s a low key guy, or a dangerous sociopath. That doesn’t seem like KL’s MO.
Damn....GS loading up again. They just signed Willie Cauley-Stein. Don’t know how. Vet mim or MLE I suppose.
Looney for 5$ mil and WCS are good depth signings. I was hoping WCS would be available for the Lakers.
Lakers are getting Boogie most likely for that role. Warriors cant offer Boogie more than the vet min. Neither can the Lakers if they sign Kawhi. So Boogie will have to take a 1 year min offer or sign with a shitty team with cap space. And they are not looking for an aging injury prone big man with loads of talent and a desire to get paid for all his past hard work. So a 1+1 deal with the Lakers with a promise that they take care of him with starters minutes to rebuild his market or at least giving him a multiyear contract into their tax space to compensate him later.
Damn, you're right. I think they are still allowed to go as high as 120% of his current salary, but he can probably get more elsewhere. Assuming we get KL, we could only offer vet min or the capped MLE which is around $5M?
