    Yeah.
    Built only for baseball in early 60s. It was renovated for football in the late 70s when the Rams moved out of the Coliseum, and when the Rams left LA in 1994 the Angels renovated the stadium again in 1997 to make it baseball only.

    Yup.
    And the tackiness would follow each year to the present day. Every year they add another tacky thing to that stadium. They'll shove trees in CF, put fake grass on a platform with a big Monster Energy logo, put flowers along the top of the batters eye with an Angels logo propped up, a Jack in the Box sign...etc. etc. They literally try to tack as many things on to that stadium as possible. "Tacky" is the perfect word for that stadium.
