    Do you think SVS shouldn't play over CC against lefties even with the superior numbers SVS has this year and CC's history of bad numbers against lefties? Or why not argue CC over Adrian if you wanna just look at this year vs. Lefties

    We have a thousand relievers and bench hitters, and had an off day yesterday but I guess let Frias just give up an out there on the hopes he gives you another inning or two

    I understand the Van Slyke argument, but when was his last live at bat entering tonight? August 5th? And you just throw him in the lineup in a huge series vs a really good pitcher. This isn't Miley

    I feel you with that but I personally think SVS has done fine in that role and we are gonna need him against lefties so might as well play him in his best opportunities to succeed rather then let him sit forever and then when we desperately need him he doesn't have an at bat in forever

    why can't we hit 1 fucking grand slam? Just one. at least a base hit would be fucking nice. When Turner does that, keeps an inning alive and gets our RBI man to the plate. He has to come thru. HAS to.

    Again, who knows what happens if instead of Frias giving up an auto out you get a pinch hitter in there. Sure, you lose Frias pitching but you have a thousand relievers
