What incentive would A-Rod have to lie? Being around superstars his whole career, I'm sure he knows some of the guys using, and Selig's whole vendetta here is trying to "clean up his legacy", what would be worse for his legacy, A-Rod getting away with it, or A-Rod outing multiple current or future hall of famers

Making it seem like every superstar in the league uses is great incentive, and making it seem like the yankees and/or mlb was covering for certain players(aka jeter ;))...hell "bringing down mlb" is a great incentive to lie

He, as a user, obviously knows of other users, and I'm certain some are high profile guys. If he came out and said Player X, Y and Z were on steroids I'd unquestionably believe him. Why lie about a user when he could just name real users?

The same reason he needs to be the highest paid player, the same reason why he feels he can win an arbitration case, the same reason he goes head to head with the yankees brass...ego.the guy feels he's never wrong and never been accepted by the fans and mlb.no doubt he would name actual users but I guarantee there's AT LEAST one supestar who hasnt
