Personally, yeah, I like the pick for the Chargers with Rivers still being in control
They have some young defensive pieces, still need some more, but they have them at key positions

As a Raider fan (sorry I'm not) you have to be happy with a project pick however Andy Reid made Alex Smith serviceable and coached a similar in style QB in Favre.

 

Now it's going to be Watson.

 

Reid can definitely mold some QBs, however, yeah I'm happy with a project pick that early and them using all that draft comp to get it, no doubt

 

Kiper actually made a good point, The Browns traded another chance to get a QB lol.

 

They have 2 1st's next year, perhaps they value the USC or UCLA qb a bit more than Watson.

 

I don't know if I blame them tho with it being a weak QB class.
They could benefit a ton defensively.
Draft is so deep with defensive talent that it looks like teams are jumping early for the offensive difference makers since there are less..makes some sense.
RAIDERS don't have to worry about offense tho
