I’m laying off the Dodgers for a bit. No use running out of high blood pressure medication so early in the season.
Handed a pair of two run leads and immediately coughed them up. He's got to be better than that. Meanwhile the bullpen is a crap shoot (emphasis on crap).
really thought the bp was a strength coming in losing Knebel was a knife cause he looked like a witch McKinstry is a big loss too no excuse for the team suddenly slumping its shoulders but it is April
Thank god we signed JT cause the thought of what would’ve happened if we handed 3B over to Rios is terrifying
Re. Mookie....... 1) is it his back? 2) with all the adulation has he turned into a Hollywood finnochio? 3) just a slump?
That's the 64 dollar question. Er...the 245 million dollar question. When he came to the Dodgers, he still had the " wasn't on the Dodgers" greatness. Now, firmly entrenched in Dodger lore, exposure to Dave Roberts greatness, and what usually happens to huge free agents once they get here, he will suck. See: Machado, Darvish, Pollock, etc., etc., etc. There's something odd and mysterious about it.
team is seriously unwatchable right now and just my opinion, but they’re matching the enthusiasm (lack thereof) of their inept/impotent leader may not be roberts fault that they’re playing like shit, but he’s certainly not doing anything to lead them out of it the failure to support muncy the other day spoke volumes about his inadequacies as a manager he might not be the one failing at the plate/on the mound/on defense, but he is the guy with his hands on the steering wheel people say managers get too much blame for their team’s failures and not enough credit for success… i say it’s just the opposite as roberts fails, so do the dodgers
