    all this posturing for ohtani…
    he ain’t coming
    why would he?
he’s going to get paid wherever he goes
why play for a dysfunctional team led by an incompetent, clueless manager?

#Dodgers utility man Chris Taylor, who took injections of cortisone and PRP in his sore right knee, said he’s feeling better and might be available off bench tonight.

I have a theory of why we lose games and teams are passing us in the standings :
The other teams have better players and managers than we do.

So hard to watch this team.

Where would we be this season without Kershaw? Sad to think, but I have a feeling the whole Sisters debacle all but ensures that he either retires after this year or finishes his career with Texas.

After the seventh, I told myself there are only two relievers we should see in the 8th and 9th. Was certain Scarecrow would mess it up. Surprisingly, he didn't. Still don't understand the Outman/DeLuca combo in the outfield with Peralta on the bench, but what would a Kershaw start be without a C-team lineup behind him?

Very inexplicable how this team can get shut out for seven innings by a guy with an era near 5, but I agree that the Scarecrow has lost them... most of them at least.

With a little help from Smith. Great pick and tag. Bailed out Rojas who made a poor throw to the plate.

Only Kersbaw could stay with Detmers the way he looked last night. What a fighter. Into the seventh.
I'd bet Robots wanted to lift him after the sixth, and was talked out of it by Kershaw.
Only Kershaw can deal with the anemic offense as it is now, and give them a chance. He should have 11 victories, imo.
Yeah, you can get hits off of CK, get men on base.
But much of the time, scoring off him is a completely different thing.
Hence his place in ERA baseball history.

Some light at the end of the tunnel. From the Athletic today...........

Julio Urías faced hitters, including Max Muncy and Miguel Vargas, in a live batting practice session Tuesday at Angel Stadium. It’s the most positive sign yet of the left-hander making a potential return by the end of the month. The plan, Roberts said, is for him to throw four innings and 60 pitches at Low-A Rancho Cucamonga as part of a rehab assignment Sunday. Urías is then expected to start for the Dodgers during their series in Kansas City at the end of June. The club’s Opening Day starter said he hasn’t felt any discomfort in his left hamstring in a week and a half. He struggled before hitting the IL, allowing three runs in six innings while pitching through some discomfort during his last start in St. Louis. The pending free agent said he has spent some of his time on the IL trying to diagnose what has led to his inconsistent start.

“There’s things in mechanics but also things where I feel like when I’m doing well, I’m attacking hitters,” Urías said in Spanish. “I feel like that’s what I was missing.”

    • Muncy hasn’t felt any lingering discomfort in his hamstring, Roberts said, and could be in the lineup as soon as Friday against the Astros — the first day he’s eligible to come off the IL.

Chris Taylor took groundballs Tuesday, his first baseball activity after receiving a cortisone injection in his right knee over the weekend. He pinch hit and flied out Tuesday. Roberts said Taylor will be available off the bench Wednesday and could be back in the regular lineup by Friday.

and because the team chose evil over decency despite his protests
the lack of respect they had for this man's beliefs were the last straw imo

I don't think it will be the last straw necessarily, but I do think it will be a factor. Absolutely.
