    In general, Peralta doesn't do much for me. But wake up, Roberts - when he's swinging this hot of a bat, he should be starting EVERY game, and not being taken out for Rojas either. Davey is atrocious in reading trends.

    Also, when you're up 5-0, THAT'S when you use your Alex Vesias. Somehow, with a comfortable lead, Roberts managed to burn through Caleb, Evan, and Gratterol, so tonight if it's a close game we'll probably see Vesia.

    With Kershaw pitching, do we get the honor of watching Barnes play tonight? Unfortunately, he already got his June hit last week.

    I believe Outman still has a future in this league. However, sending him out there for another 0-3, 3 K's is not good for his confidence. The league pitchers have obviously figured out the formula for pitching to him. Send him down, coach him through the flaws in his approach, and get him back with some renewed confidence. Let DeLuca get a shot or at this point, even Taylor.

    Actually, even Roberts can't fuck this one up, can he? Smith is 4 for 7 with two HRs against Clevinger. Surely Roberts will see that and not start Barnes, right? Just to be safe, here's hoping AB's wrist is still sore.
