    LOL...well I can totally deal with Punto not getting a hit. But to stand there and take 3 strikes...well you've commented on it before...that's little league shit to take a close pitch on strike 3. Especially when it looked almost identical to strike 2 just before it. I was pretty disappointed, I'd expect a better effort from Nick.

    Did you just watch that interview too?

    He knew every specific pitch in each pitch count and clearly was aware of what he was trying to do versus what happened. I was good with his replies overall but he does have a borderline mental 'Rainman' issue. You can see he's able to get through it but not hide it altogether.

    Yeah, the 1st one was low and away and the ump missed the call IMO. The next two up and in...borderline no doubt...but fuck.

    Nick wasn't going to swing at the first pitch. And if he did you'd bitch "getting out on the first pitch!? Terrible AB!"..
    Nick could've been looking for slider on either/each of the last two pitches and got frozen on filthy 100 MPH fastball right on the inside black
    He's human and got beat by a terrific pitcher. Sometimes you get frozen on tough pitches you aren't expecting. He was trying his hardest and got fooled. It happens.

    See, I can do it too :)
