Yeah, but it helps him in real life. You know, where it matters. And before you say it, I know I came in last.
If Kershaw pitches like the Kershaw we know, the absence of Dre shouldn't matter today as long as we put up 2-3 runs.
I'm out. Fantasy baseball is too long of a season to care when I'm already out of it by week ten. I'm already out of fantasy football. My time is better used elsewhere rather than trying to form a competent football/baseball team.
ugh, I heavily dislike Mark Ellis at 2 and Puig at 5. Mark Ellis is fine at 2 vs. lefties but vs. righties (especially one as tough as Medlen) that's just rough to give that many ABs to Mark there as opposed to Puig.
I'll go on record as saying I don't mind Mellis second in a game like this. Great pitching, a couple runs could do it, and while his "great team player do the right thing advance the runner to second" narrative is overblown, in a game like this I'm not sure I'd be against playing for a run late in the game.
this... He has been too overanxious, and they are pitching him out all the time... maybe if there's runners on, it forces the pitchers to shoot something down the middle, or close to the plate...
I don't remember the Dodgers ever putting out a line-up like that all season, maybe DBB trying to surprise the Braves. You'd think he'd try this line-up the last few games to see how it works. A little risky IMHO. My memory is pretty bad so if anyone can confirm the 1st time for this line-up please enlighten me.
I hope Crawford gets shit started and his legs feel good. Hate to make big reactions to just single games like we do in the playoffs but man, he could make a huge difference in a game where both teams are probably gonna be desperate for runs.
I dont think he has... Puig has been mainly a #2 behind CC or #1... I think this is the first time he's 5th... but it balances out the lineup more, and I get that... it creates more depth... Mark is an adecuate #2...
